In Bhopal, a man killed his wife and hid her body in a fort located in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh. The victim, identified as Shivangi, the wife of Rishiraj Singh, was discovered dead inside Dhamoni fort four days after she went missing. The police started searching for her after her family reported her missing. Initially, the police suspected Shivangi's husband, Rishiraj Singh, and during questioning, he confessed to the crime. Rishiraj admitted to strangling his wife and hiding her body in the fort. Reports suggest that Shivangi and her husband visited Dhamoni fort on September 13, after which she disappeared. Her family reported her missing to Madavara police, leading to an investigation that pointed towards Rishiraj. He confessed to the murder, revealing that jealousy due to an affair with another woman prompted him to commit the crime. Rishiraj has been arrested and is currently in custody, while the police are continuing their investigation and gathering more evidence.
